I think I’m back.

7 Jan

After a busy fall that had me starting a new part time position as Preschool Associate at our church, participating on a MOPS steering team,  coordinating food for kids in a local school district who don’t otherwise get food on weekends, rooting on our Red Raiders, grieving over my dear, sweet (and quite possibly the most wonderful woman in the world) Granny, AND fulfilling my full time role of Mommy, Wife, House Mgr., Cook…(the list goes on), I think I’m finally back.  Not that I am any less busy; I still have my full time job, my part time job, and TWO MOPS steering teams now, but I really want to be documenting my girls’ early years, and this is just the best way for me to do so.

Don’t get your hopes up…I may only post once every two weeks, but I’m hoping that if I change to small little posts I won’t have to give up a full evening to think, type, think, type, upload photos, type some more…

Oh, and I’m not even going to try and backtrack and document what all we’ve done over the last few months.  That makes my head hurt to think about doing so.

So basically, don’t expect too much from me. 🙂

Oh, and if you are a reader of my blog but not a “commenter,” do me a favor and leave a comment sometime.  It seems there are several people who read this blog and I have no idea they do.  Besides, knowing I have an audience may motivate me to write some good stuff if I realize I have a responsibility to entertain people!!

I’ll leave you with a cute story of Reece that just happened yesterday.  After Parent’s Day Out (PDO) when we were driving home, she pulled a sealed note out of her backpack.  “What’s that,” I ask.  “Well,” said Reece as she began opening it, “It’s just my invitation to the ball!”  Turns out it was a thank-you note from the teacher for the Christmas gift Reece gave her, but Reece has been carrying her backpack EVERYWHERE for the last 24 hours with the “invitation” tucked safely inside.

Come to think of it, that’s a lot of what our last few months have been about…princesses, balls, gowns, crowns (oops, she insists on “tiera”), princess movies, the evil people trying to harm the princess…

I’m princessed out!
